Helix Pharma was incorporated in 1960 as a member of the Hakimsons Group, established since 1921. Based in Karachi, it manufactures and markets a broad range of branded generics covering 75% of all therapeutic classes, as well as licensed products, imported biological and oncology drugs, and nutraceutical/herbal formulations in alternative medicine. It has a technical collaboration with Takeda, Asia's largest pharmaceutical company.
