Labormed Pharma is the largest independent generics company in Romania, founded in 1991. Has the most modern solid oral dosage production facility in Romania (€19M investment in 2007). Portfolio of 200+ modern generics, OTC and natural products, with brands such as Lactacyd and Persen. Exports to Russia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland and the Balkans. Acquired by Alvogen in 2012, and part of Zentiva since April 2020.
