Terapia S.A. is the largest generic pharmaceutical company in Romania, founded in 1921, and a subsidiary of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. since 2015 (previously part of Ranbaxy). First local pharmaceutical company to obtain GMP certification in Romania (1999) and to have its own bioequivalence centre (2002). Produces 93 million boxes of medicines per year, exporting to 25 countries. Portfolio covers cardiovascular, CNS, musculoskeletal, anti-infectives, anti-neoplastics, respiratory and gastrointestinal areas. Has the country's largest generic sales force.
