Uniao Quimica

Brazilian pharmaceutical group whose history begins in 1936 with Laboratório Prata and which was incorporated as União Química in 1970. It operates ten units in Brazil and one in the United States, with more than 290,000 square metres of industrial space. It covers human health — hospital, over-the-counter, branded and generic — and animal health through its Agener division, and runs the Bthek biotechnology unit in Brasília for monoclonal antibodies, chemotherapy agents and vaccines. It also provides contract manufacturing for third parties.
