Founded in 1953, it was India's first private-sector biological products company and the first pharmaceutical company in southern India. Three divisions: branded formulations, specialty generic injectables, and vaccines and biologics. Its vaccine portfolio includes CORBEVAX, COMBEFIVE, BEVAC, HAPIBEV, TYPHIBEV, Pneubevax-14 and JEEV. It also produces polyvalent snake antivenom from its own on-site horse farm.
