Brazil's largest pharmaceutical company, founded in 1964 and part of Grupo NC, employing around 7,300 people. It operates in prescription medicines, generics, over-the-counter products and the hospital segment, with the EMS, Novamed, Dermacyd and Vitamine-se brands. It has four plants in Brazil — Hortolândia, Jaguariúna, Manaus and Anápolis — plus one in Serbia, and has exported since 2005 to 56 countries across Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
