Chemical company founded in 1971 at Nandesari, India's sole metallic sodium producer for three decades. It expanded into castor oil derivatives in 1987, aroma ingredients in 1993 and pharmaceutical intermediates in 1999. It added a sandalwood-note molecules unit in 2016 and another site in Maharashtra in 2023. It is the result of a five-company group merger completed in 2024.
