Integrated producer of recombinant human insulin, from the fermentation-derived active ingredient through to ampoules, pre-filled syringes, vials, cartridges and disposable pens. Its biotechnology plant at Hinjewadi, Pune, covers 40,000 square metres; the formulation site at Taloja has run since 2000. It declares 450 to 500 kilos of insulin a year.
