Zenufa Laboratories (Tanzania)

Pharmaceutical manufacturer on Nyerere Road, Dar es Salaam, part of the Zenufa group, which began as a trading company in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 1976. Its Tanzanian operations started in 2007 and the national regulator lists it as a manufacturer of oral solids and liquids meeting GMP standards. It produces pharmaceutical preparations including antimalarials and treatments for diabetes, hypertension, cancer and obesity. The group runs a second plant in Kinshasa and distributes in five further countries.
